Access Health Louisiana iscurrently seeking a full-timeClinical Operations Manager tooversee operations at ourlocation inHammond,Louisiana. The Operations Manager oversees patient care flow while redirecting and allocating resources. Acts independently to provide crisis management, interpret policy, make timely decisions that directly impact patient care, ensure timely and effective communication and collaboration among departments, and provide operational oversight throughout the clinic. Serves as an administrative liaison to patients, families, employees and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Guides, directs and instructs staff members in areas related to patient care, work performance, problem solving and decision making.
Coordinates clinic work and utilizes available reports to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
Identifies potential problem situations and intervenes to offset adverse impact; demonstrates a proactive approach to problem solving.
Monitors ongoing staffing needs and makes appropriate decisions.
Evaluates staff for proficiency of work, and provides training and coaching as necessary to improve quality and productivity.
Determines necessary space, equipment, supplies and support systems to ensure effective functioning of unit/department.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, business administration, or related degree required. Master s degree preferred.
Experience in healthcare management and/or administration required.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Strong analytical skills.
Ability to maintain highest level of discretion and confidentiality in maintaining patient and employee confidentiality.
