0 Hammond, LA Hammond, LA Part-time Contract Part-time Contract $23 an hour $23 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist Underage Purchasers in performing non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted.
The inspection is used to establish a retailer's compliance with federal regulations.
This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual's schedule.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address provided Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable Review retailers for compliance of advertising & labeling signage Required qualifications/skills:
Inspectors must be current law enforcement officers or employees of the state, county, or local city/town Reliable transportation Attention to detail Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy Must be able to undergo a security clearance background check and become credentialed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
