- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors.
- Provide transportation for individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Implement individualized care plans.
It is the duty of the CARE Inc attendant to fill out, take, and turn in all necessary paperwork - daily progress notes, tests, and tracking sheets such as seizures, medications, bowel movements, and potty training.
Requirements:
- High School graduate/GED or 2 years experience providing Personal Care Services for a licensed provider.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is preferred.
- Ability to clean and maintain a clean living environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
