This Administrative Coordinator position is for a vacancy located in Hammond, Louisiana, though travel throughout the FPHSA service area may be required.

This position is for a part-time WAE (When Actually Employed) position only and is not to exceed 1245 hours in a 12-month period.
Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience.

61/hour maximum No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.

1220 Qualifications MINIMUM
Qualifications:
One year of experience in which clerical work was a major duty SUBSTITUTIONS:
Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required experience on the basis of six months of training for six months of experience.
Completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required one year of experience.
College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.
NOTE:
Business or technical school training with less than completion will only be credited in six month increments.
Similarly, college training will only be credited in 15 semester hour increments.
NOTE:
Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Job Concepts Function of Work:
To perform a variety of clerical duties that requires some independent judgment to accomplish in support of the staff members and/or operations of an organizational unit or program.
Employees follow detailed procedural guidelines in completing well-defined duties.
Level of Work:
Experienced.
Supervision Received:
General from higher-level clerical and/or supervisory personnel.
Supervision Exercised:
None.
Location of Work:
May be used by all state agencies.
Job Distinctions:
Differs from Administrative Coordinator 1 by the presence of responsibility for clerical duties that require some independent judgment to perform.
Differs from Administrative Coordinator 3 by the absence of advanced level duties that not only require some independent judgment, but also involve a greater scope and complexity.
Examples of Work Reviews files in storage at FPHSA facilities; determines the category of file contents; creates an itemized spreadsheet and logs in all required information with regards to files, the dates files were closed, etc.
Compares file information contained within the spreadsheet to the agency's Record Retention Policy and program requirements, makes determination as to whether the files can be submitted for destruction or must be retained.
Ensures all files are sorted and boxed, with all boxes labeled according to contents and disposition.
Completes and submits to supervisor all required documentation to request destruction of files.
Once requests are reviewed and approved by supervisor, will submit requests for destruction of files to agency Retention Coordinator for processing.
Completes all required agency trainings relevant to the tasks being performed.
Completes any other related duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
