This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is interested in the death care industry but may not have formal training in funeral service.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Answer telephones Greet and direct visitors Assist grieving families while showing continual care and concern Prepare chapels for funeral services and attending to services Receive and move flower arrangements Support and assist funeral directors to ensure professional, high-quality service Assist funeral directors with dressing and casketing the deceased Assist funeral directors and administrative team with errands Monitor parking lot activities in any weather and direct traffic Transport deceased to and from funeral homes, as directed In addition, perform any other job as directed MUST:
Possess and display and understanding of the funeral profession Have an adaptive/team player attitude Have basic computer skills Have a professional self-presentation Be able to multitask Be able to stand for extended periods of time Be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 15 pounds regularly Have a pleasant phone manner Have a valid Louisiana driver's license and an insurable driving record Job Type:
