8K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Definition and Role The position of the Health Informatics Analyst will report directly to the Director of Health Informatics.
This role involves the management, analysis, and oversight of data for various departments within this company, including clinical, revenue cycle, and operational data.
The main purpose of this role is to collect data through observation, analyze it, and then format it in a way to produce useful information for different areas of the company.
Job Responsibilities and Duties Assist in implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of systems, primarily Microsoft PowerBI, but could also include any system used by MedCentris in clinical and operational practices.
Provide useful information collected from data to the HIM team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Produce data that will aid in the utilization of workflow for the Department of Revenue Cycle, IT Department, Clinical Staff, and Administrative Staff.
Provide reports that assist in appointment scheduling, medical billing and coding, claims submission, and AR denial and management.
Provide reports to clinical staff within and outside of our organization that provide an overview of clinical outcomes.
Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities and check output.
Learn and act as a back-up for operational reporting on both a weekly and monthly basis.
Coordinate and conduct audits as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills Understanding of integration technologies and techniques.
Must have excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
Proficiency in computer software programs (e.
g.
Word, Excel, Power Point, Project) Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD 10 Coding required.
Ability to work independently for long periods of time, especially when introduced with a new data analysis project.
