The ideal candidate should have office experience and a general knowledge of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
Accurately process and approve employee expenses and reimbursement requests Provide clerical support to the accounting team Perform basic bookkeeping tasks Assist with payroll process clerical tasks Learn to accurately process project invoices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, with some college-level coursework preferred At least 1-2 years of office experience, accounting experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Familiarity with basic accounting principles Job Type:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
