The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in sales.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective print advertising clients in and around the Tangipahoa Parish area.
Qualifications:
We provide advertising services to a diverse list of corporate clients; therefore, strong professional etiquette and decorum are mandatory.
Personal and professional qualities that we seek include:
Honesty Loyalty Reliability High school education or above Professional appearance Courteous demeanor Willingness to learn Ambition/ desire for professional growth Ability to receive constructive suggestions for improvement At least two years' outside sales experience Ability to meet deadlines Ability to identify low hanging fruit and plan a sales strategy including multiple prospects Duties of this role will be partially performed in an office setting, and some electronic communication will be necessary.
Basic office skills are required, including:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook Good oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Attention to minor details in work documents and advertising materials Comfort with elementary office machines (computers, printers, etc.
) The following items are not required but may be persuasive factors:
Experience in the print advertising field Excellent written grammar skills Interest in professional development/education and increase in responsibilities The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate or higher and possess the majority of the items listed above, as well as a commitment to a responsible personal lifestyle.
