The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager in maintaining and updating employee files, completing regular reports and answering basic HR questions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Assist in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Assist in supporting organization staff by helping to establish a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
Assist in preparing employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Assist in managing a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Assist in implementing employee benefits programs and informing employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
Assist in ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records.
Assist in enforcing management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Assist in retaining historical human resource records by helping design a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
