7K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Definition and Role The position of Provider Enrollment Specialist will report directly to the Director of Credentialing and is based at the home office.
This role involves and supports the enterprise wound medicine service line through the evaluation, planning, implementation and tracking of administrative, regulatory, and clinical processes, policies, and procedures.
This role is working closely with related department heads to ensure pull-through.
Additional service lines may be assigned based on MedCentris strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities and Duties Build and maintain a strong foundational knowledge to ensure compliance with the criteria, standards, and requirements of the Accreditation Council for CME (ACCME), American Medical Association (AMA), Association of Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Academy of PAS (AAPA), all state and federal licensing Review and analyze state and federal licensure and clinician CME/CEU's Complete license applications both online and paper with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency Develops and maintains relationships and effective communication with all levels of MedCentris staff, clinicians, affiliated facilities, and healthcare payors while modeling exemplary customer service standards Maintains copies of all current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all clinicians Utilize internal and external electronic systems for managing large amounts of data and documents Assist with daily onboarding and offboarding tasks Monitoring and responding to inquiries received in the credentialing email throughout the day Respects and maintains clinician confidentiality in written, verbal and electronic information Sets up and maintains clinician information in online regulatory and credentialing databases and systems, i.

, CAQH, PECOS, etc All other duties as assigned Qualifications Preferred experience in credentialing, clinician enrollment, or revenue cycle Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with computer and common office equipment as well as with MS Office products required Detail oriented with ability to recognize vital information from verification documents Possess proof-reading skills sufficient for auditing documents Able to communicate and work well in a team environment Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis and follow up on open items in a timely manner Able to articulate next steps and action items required of clinicians Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to pivot and adjust in a fast-paced environment Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinicians, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
Familiarity with multiple license types is a bonus (MD, NP, RN, LPN) Physical Requirements Mobility and Lifting:
Frequent sitting for extended periods of time; frequent standing; frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.

Constant ability to read information, including close-up; constant ability to use a computer screen; frequent use of good overall vision, including color perception.
